Due to the multi purpose roro vessels of the Grande Class the loading capacity for cars, trucks, all kinds of vehicles as well as containers was immensely increased. These new vessels have a gross loading capacity of 26.300 tdw and reach a speed of 20 knots. Cargo of up to 250 t can be loaded directly into the vessel over the new state of the art rear ramp.
